The Northumberland Nighthawk AA Minor Midgets took time out of their Silver Stick schedule this past Saturday to give back to the community at Christmas Time. In between games Saturday Coach Joe Berney and captains Ethan Shore, Carter Clarke, Matt Carins and Curits Mullin paid a visit to the giving tree at The Northumberland Mall and sponsored 4 names from the tree. Northumberland Nighthawks Minor Midgets started the Kawartha Lakes Tournament with a 1-1 tie against the Ajax Knights. Northumberland was lead by the strong goaltending of game MVP Jeremy MacDonald.
