KidSport Northumberland
Financial barriers keep many kids from playing organized hockey and reaping all the benefits of being involved in team sports. Hockey teaches kids to be part of a team, that hard work is the best way to succeed, and the value of good sportsmanship. Hyundai Hockey Helpers is dedicated to helping at least 1,000 deserving kids get into the game every year by providing grants for league registration fees and equipment.

Hyundai Hockey Helpers is supported by Hyundai Auto Canada Corp., Hyundai dealers across Canada, and, we hope, people like you. Hyundai and Hyundai dealers will support the first 1,000 kids and pay for all of the program operating expenses, which means donations from the public will go directly to helping even more kids get in the game.

Hyundai Hockey Helpers works in partnership with KidSport™, a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance to kids and youth for sports registration fees and equipment. KidSport™ is 100% responsible for reviewing applications and distributing grants.

Jumpstart Program:
One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enroll their children in sport or recreation activities. That means that many kids are missing out.  Canadian Tire Jumpstart is dedicated to removing barriers, so children can participate in organized sport and recreation.  For additional information, you can find it here.
