Upon arrival fans of the 2023 OHL Champions and Kingston Frontenancs were greeted by the Northumberland Nighthawk U10 A team who were selling Chuck-A- Pucks to support their upcoming season!

With a sold out Peterborough Memorial Center the Nighthawks got right to work and started selling. A successful fundraiser was underway quickly.

The Peterborough Petes raised two champion banners that evening with special guest Shawn Spearing. The Peterborough Petes Captain for the last two years.

One for the Eastern Conference where they defeated the Sudbury Wolves in 4, the Ottawa 67's in 6 and the North Bay Battalion to win the Eastern Conference for the first time since 2006.

The second for the OHL Championship where they were matched up with the young London Knights. For the first time since 2006 the Petes became OHL Champions and were on their way to the Memorial Cup where they came third.

After a busy and eventful night with Peterborough climbing back to defeat Kingston 5-4 the Nighthawks can call the evening a successful fundraiser. IMG-3031.jpgIMG-3034.jpgIMG-3042.JPGIMG-3045.JPGIMG-3046.JPGIMG-3048.JPG
