The AE Bantam's traveled to Clarington for an exhibition game Wednesday night to take on the Bantam AE Toro's . Northumberland came out of the gate strong taking a 3-0 lead into the 2nd period while killing off 3 consecutive penalties, holding off Clarington's strong pressure on the powerplay. In the 2nd period Clarington came back with a goal but Northumberland continue to press and answered with 3 more of their own to take a 6-1 lead into the 3rd. In the 3rd period Clarington once again pressured which resulted in a goal but didn't have enough to make the comeback. Eventually resulting in a Northumberland 6-2 win.
The Northumberland Nighthawks Bantam AE take on the Toro's once again to wrap up their exhibition games Thursday September 1st at 930pm @ Jack Burger.
