RS6 Nighthawks were in Oshawa this past weekend for their first ever tournament and they made Northumberland proud! They played two games on Friday losing their First game in a tight 5-4 game against Peterborough White. The Second game was a nail biting 2-2 tie against Peterborough Maroon and Saturdays game they pulled off an exciting 3-2 win against the Port Perry Predators.

After a stellar performance by everyone in their previous match up with the Pete's, the Northumberland Nighthawks RS6 team won 3-0 in the second half of their home and home. The defense helped Ethan McGregor shut down the Pete's giving him his 2nd shutout of the season. #7 William Judd netted his first goal of the season in the win!

The RS6 Nighthawks combined for 5 goals in a tough but exciting loss against the Peterborough Petes White team on Saturday evening at the Jack Burger Sports Complex! #14 Lincoln Campbell opened the scoring netting his first of the season and #17 Hunter Bradbury also banged in a rebound for his first of the season. #16 Brayden Davidson topped off his hat-trick burying one into the back of the net with an exciting deke! The Nighthawks controlled the game for the most part and all players fought very hard right to the end! A rematch will happen this Sunday at Northcrest Arena in Peterborough at 6pm.
