The Novice AA Nighthawks participated in their annual Skills Competition
which tied in with the recent NHL All-Start weekend. The players
competed for bragging rights in the following categories:
- Fastest skater
- Mini stick shooting accuracy
- Obstacle course
- Creative breakaway
- Shooting accuracy with targets
A big thanks to the coaches who put this together and all the players who participated which made for a really fun afternoon.

The Novice AA coaching staff challenged all the players to improve their shots by working in the basement or driveway at home. The reward was a team party if we reached the team goal of 13,000 shots. The players responded and the final tally was an impressive 19,876.
