Lakeshore - York Simcoe Champs!
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Monday, April 15, 2019
Our Lakeridge Chrysler Peewee AE team closed out the Nighthawks season is style!

This group, was surely still feeling pretty fantastic after they took the Lakeshore Championship a few weeks ago in front of their hometown fans.

As the Lakeshore Champs do every year, they competed against York Simcoe's winners to determine the "best of the best'.

This was not an easy contest for the Peewee AE crew. They played against the Markham Waxers and after the scheduled two games - they were tied.  Both teams battled hard in OT and the bout was not decided until our Nighthawks were victorious in a SHOOT OUT!

This group of dedicated, hardworking, talented kids did not disappoint themselves, their coaches, their families or fans.

We are all very proud of you and you outstanding accomplishments,  what an amazing way to conclude the 2018/2019 Northumberland Nighthawks hockey season!
