Let me officially welcome you to what will surely be another awesome season of Nighthawks hockey!

I think that the best way to keep all of you in the loop about the happenings within the NMHA is to communicate!  Please know, that all information will be posted to the website, and our Northumberland Nighthawks FB Page.

On occasion, we will email our membership as well.  If you don't receive this email, and would like to be included, be sure to email me at [email protected].

Executive Committee
Our AGM was held earlier in June where we said goodbye to our outgoing Executives and welcomed our New Committee.  Many thanks to all of those volunteers leaving us this year, your years of efforts and and countless hours of service are much appreciated.

Your new 2018/2019 Executive Committee is made up of many new faces, mixed with a few "old" ones.  I expect that this year will be a positive one, filled with lots of Development opportunities for our players, meaningful Community Involvement and a ton of communication between the Executive Committee and our members, so that we can be sure to move in the direction that you support.

House League
Our House league program will begin the weekend of Sept 15th. Please stay tuned for more details.

As always, we rely on our outstanding volunteers to Coach, and act as Trainers for our teams.  If you are interested in filling one of these roles, please contact Jack Filce, VP of House League

Police Checks
Last year, we had 100% compliance, and this year we will be holding all of volunteers to the same standard.  Our number one priority is safety for our children, so please remember that Police checks for ALL volunteers 18 years and over are mandatory (for both HL & Rep).   These must be submitted before the start of hockey season.

If you completed a Police Check last season, you can simply complete a Criminal Offence Declaration Form.  Be sure to confirm that we in fact have all of your information.

Please contact Will Lewis, Risk Management for any questions.

New Pant Shells
At the AGM, it was decided that all Rep teams would adopt new Pant Shells as part of their uniform.  These will be worn over their regular hockey pants.
*Goalies are exempt from this, however, they may purchase them if they wish.

Details will be provided to you at your Team Parent meetings!

Question about Financials
At the AGM,  members raised a few questions about some discrepencies that were presented in our Financial Report.  Please see the following link for the answers to those questions.

Wishing you all a fabulous summer, away from the arena! Enjoy the sun, soccer, lacrosse, camping, boating, swimming or whatever it is that you and your families do to have fun!
