U16AA OMHA Silver Metalist March 31-April 2
Submitted By Shannon Drumm on Thu 04 06, 23
Last week our U16AA team competed at the OMHA Championship weekend.  Round Robin saw our Nighthawks play against the Barrie Colts, Niagara Falls Flyers and the Orangeville Flyers.

The Nighthawks won all 3 round robin games, which put them in the Semi Final game against the Milton Winterhawks early Sunday morning.  Another big win for the Nighthawks against Milton in a 2-1 victory took the team to the Championship game on Sunday afternoon against the Newmarket Renegades.  The game was another low scoring, very tight game.  This game ended in a 2-1 loss for our U16AA Nighthawks team.

The NMHA wanted to pass on a big congratulations to all the players and coaches.  This team made us all proud and it was great to see so many fans make the trip to Kingston last Sunday to cheer on the boys.

They may have lost the final game of the Championship weekend but U16AA team are all winners in our eyes!

Thank you to the coaches, parents, fans from near and far plus our entire Association for all your support last weekend and throughout the 2022/23 season

Congrats on your Silver Metals U16AA Nighthawks!
