Organization - Mask Wearing Update
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Wed 03 23, 22
Good evening Nighthawk Families!

Today we received some information that needs to be relayed immediately.

As you are aware the mask mandate, along with other Covid related restrictions were lifted as of this Monday, March 21st.

Today, the Ontario Hockey Federation released information stating that they have made the decision to continue to maintain masking requirements for the remainder of the 2021-22 Minor Hockey Season.

Players and coaches must be wearing a mask while in the dressing room and coaches must wear a mask while on the bench.  Parents and spectators are expected to continue following the masking requirements of any facility that they are visiting.

The OHF mask mandate is set to expire at the conclusion of OHF Championships (April 24th). At this time, masks will not be required for spring evaluations.

I know that this information may seem contradictory to the provincial news earlier this week, but I ask that you please ensure that you are in compliance with these guidelines for the remainder of the 2021/2022 hockey season.

Again, many thanks for your continued support this season.
