On Sat Jan 7, 2023 The Toronto Maple Leafs/MLSE had their first Indigenous Celebration Event at the Leafs v. Red Wings game.
During the game our very own Damien Anderson, a U10 AA Nighthawks player representedNorthumberland during an on-ice shooting competition.
He was invited to participate by Hockey Equality as an OMHA Indigenous hockey player.
Damien beat the clock in the shooting competition to win his team $1000 - WOW amazing Damien!!
Congratulations Damien, way to represent the Northumberland Nighthawks and make the entire Association proud of you!
