The impact of fall tryouts on associations has been devastating.
Fall tryouts are also impacting spring tryout teams because of the workload to get teams rostered just can’t happen in time.
We have all seen the fiasco with travel permits and exhibition games, jerseys, rostering, transfers etc.
Almost everything would have been done through the summer months and we would have a smooth start to the season.
There is a movement to petition the OHF and Hockey Canada to move the tryouts back to the spring time as we feel this is not working for anyone, including the players.
However, you may feel differently so you can have your say.
