Blue Rodeo Volunteers NEEDED
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Sun 05 22, 22
On Thursday, June 16, 2022, the Cobourg Cougars Jr. A Hockey Club and the Town of Cobourg have teamed up to host a Blue Rodeo live concert at the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC).

In an effort to give back and help support minor hockey, they have graciously included partnerships with the NMHA.

The NMHA is a very fortunate minor hockey association!  We are in a favourable financial position and instead of fund-raising for our own association, we have decided to donate our proceeds to the Northumberland Bulldogs Special Needs Hockey Program.

The Bulldogs program is a locally based organization for individuals of all ages with developmental and intellectual challenges. Their team of volunteers provide a safe and fun opportunity for their payers to learn and enjoy the game of hockey.

We have chosen to help support this group as they truly represent what hockey is all about.  Their dedication to learning and developing while maintaining a huge emphasis on family and community is truly inspiring.  The Nighthawks have teamed up and shared the ice with the Bulldogs before, and for everyone involved, it was an exciting and memorable event!

We are looking for Volunteers (ages 16 years and up) to help us with the Blue Rodeo Concert on June 16, 2022   to assist at the Blue Rodeo Concert on June 16.

Volunteers would be required from 5:00 to 11:30 p.m. on the day of the event to serve in an usher role.  Simply you will be asked to help concert goers to their seats in the CCC Bowl.

Bonus is that all volunteers would be able to watch the concert from the sides.

If you are interested in volunteering please email Jenny Hammond at [email protected] with your full name, email and phone number by Friday May 27th, 2022.

Thank you all for helping us to support all of our friends at the Northumberland Bulldogs!
