U13 Select - Fundraising after fire at Port Hope Dance Studio
Submitted By Shannon Drumm on Thu 01 06, 22
Great show of Support from our U13 Select Nighthawks team.  On December 18th a local business in Port Hope , 3M Dance Studio suffered extensive damage due to arson.

The team wanted show the 3M Dance Studio their support as one family on the U13 team had a daughter that was part of the the 3M Dance studio family and they saw first hand the impact of the fire on the business owners, dance family & friends, as well as the local community.

With this in mind, the U13 Select Team agreed to host a bottle drive to raise money for the studio - to show their support and to give back to the community.

On January 2nd the kids (players & sibling) as well as many family members took time to collect for the bottle drive.  The response was overwhelming.

The owners of 3M Dance Studio were presented with the money raised by the U13 Select Team, they were deeply moved and very grateful to everyone that donated as well as everyone that was involved in organizing.

Awesome community support from the entire U13 Select Nighthawks team - job well done!!💙🖤
