Goodbye 2020/2021
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Tue 08 10, 21
Good evening,

'Tis the eve of the beginning of a brand new season!

I want to reiterate to all of you how appreciated your hard work has been this past year. Our Executive, coaches, trainers, convenors, schedulers and especially our hockey families.

Looking back at the tremendous behind the scenes efforts required to get the 2020/2021 season rolling, the hoops that had to be jumped through and the extreme flexibility and fluidness was phenomenal and more than expected from this solid bunch of volunteers.

Together, we provided the youth of Northumberland with a fun and safe physical and social outlet during what was an extremely challenging year for so many of our families.

Here is hoping that the 2021/2022 NMHA season resembles one closer to what we have all grown accustomed to in the past; full games, locker room celebrations, tournaments and the team spirit that we all missed very much!

Our AGM, which marks the closure of one season and the beginning of the next will be held tomorrow; Wednesday, August 11th at 6pm, Jack Burger.  All members in good standing, along with all Lifetime members are invited to attend.

We will be discussing the past season, plans for the upcoming one, our associations financial reports, voting on proposed By-Law Amendments and your new Executive positions.

This is your association and your voice matters - looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Again, many thanks to you all for the "memorable - hopefully never to be repeated" hockey season!

Michelle Brown
NMHA President
