Good morning Nighthawk Families,
As you are aware the Nighthawks have made the decision to put hockey on pause for this weekend for all of our facilities. Hockey has not been cancelled and we have not been shutdown.
We made this decision with our families health and best interest at heart.
We are aware of potential Covid exposure at the CCC and hence our members.
Pausing two days of hockey and airing on the side of caution makes most sense.
Our priority is safety, please trust that we have your health at the forefront of all of our decisions.
Do You Need to Self-Isolate? No, but Please Self-Monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, which include:
- fever (feeling hot to the touch, a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher),
- chills,
- cough that's new or worsening, barking cough, making a whistling noise when breathing,
- shortness of breath, sore throat, difficulty swallowing,
- runny, stuffy or congested nose,
- lost sense of taste or smell,
- pink eye,
- headache that's unusual or long lasting,
- digestive issues,
- muscle aches, extreme tiredness that is unusual, and
- falling down often.
If you begin to show symptoms of COVID-19, you should take the online self-assessment to help you decide if you need a test.
Please stay safe and healthy, we will see you on Monday!
