Support needed for one of our Nighthawks Families
Submitted By Shannon Drumm on Wed 11 04, 20
One of our own Nighthawks Families has suffered a huge loss in the early hours of Sunday Nov 1. They were awakened by a neighbour letting them know they needed to get out quickly as their home was on fire.  The Boon family of Port Hope escaped the blaze unharmed but lost everything in the fire.

The family is overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and generosity that has been showered upon their family over the last few days. The Boon's are so appreciative of the community support they have received since Sunday.

Both the Boon's boys whom are Nighthawks players (age 7 & 13) have been well taken care by the community and no longer require any clothing, outerwear or hockey equipment donations.  Thank you to all who donated.

As the Boon's sort through all of the items lost in the fire they are still in need of support - the best way to help the family is to donate to a GoFundMe page set up to help in their time of need.
