"Pre" Registration for 2020/2021
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Wed 08 12, 20
To all Parents of children wishing to play hockey in the upcoming 2020-2021 season,

Thank you for taking the time to complete our "interest to play" survey.  Your families desire to participate in Minor Hockey this season has been tremendously supportive and duly noted.

Now, we ask that you take the next step and complete our "Pre" Registration form before August 21st, 2020.  This will allow us to establish the next steps and ensure that we will have appropriate access to use of facilities that support our numbers for participation.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, hockey will not look the same as it has in the past (at least initially). In this current stage, there will be no tryouts for the formation of teams, no spectators will be allowed in the facilities, there will be no physical contact, players are expected to arrive to the arena dressed (minus skates), and we are limited to 25 individuals on the ice at a time.

We are working collaboratively with our local Health Unit, our Town Councils and the Arena Facilities to ensure that we meet their individualized, strict guidelines to help keep our community safe.

Hockey Canada has allowed us to offer Development and modified programming in accordance with their Stages.  For the time being, there will be no "games" per se, but we will be able to have our players safely return to the ice, work on their skills, get some fitness and be with their friends in a controlled setting.  This is a big and exciting step in the direction that we have been patiently waiting for - return to our beloved hockey game!

It is imperative that you "Pre" register before August 21st, 2020 so that we can demonstrate our commitment and obtain the appropriate amount of ice as needed.

At this point, we are unsure as to what the programming will look like exactly and have yet to determine our fees.  As such, we will NOT be requiring any payment at this time.

To ensure your child can participate when the time comes, please pre register NOW!
*You will still have the ability to remove your child should you choose to at a later date.

Updates will follow when additional information is available.  We thank you for your continued interest and patience.
