The first ever Northumberland Spirit Awards are celebrating the best people, places and businesses in our community and one of our coaches earned TOP SPOT!
Huge congratulations to our Minor Atom AE, Assistant Coach; Ben Walters for being voted TOP COACH in Northumberland!
Coach Ben's players absolutely LOVE him! They say that he makes practices fun, he is encouraging and supportive, he is always calm and that he simply makes being a Nighthawk FUN! Coach Ben leads by example and with his positive approach, he gets the very best from his players who truly look up to him and values his presence on their bench.
We are all very proud to have coaches like Ben Walters on our benches, and the groups of kids who are fortunate enough to get to play for him will walk away from hockey having had a much richer experience.
Congratulations Coach Ben - from all of your Nighthawks Family! Enjoy your award and recognition, you most certainly deserve it.
