Northumberland Silver Stick Nov 29th - Dec 1st
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Sun 12 01, 19
Our second consecutive weekend of hosting our Silver Stick Regional Tournament has come to a conclusion.  We saw 70 teams come in and out of our arenas and crowned 9 Silver Stick Regional Champions.

Many thanks to our Silver Stick Tournament Director; Venetia Harper for all of her hard work in organizing this tremendous event for our area, and a big thank you to her group of volunteers.

Also, much appreciation to Foodland for generously providing tournament volunteers with trays of food all weekend, and to Lorenz Conveying and National Shunt Services Ltd. for their Tournament sponsorship.

Kudos to all of our tournament participants, it was an exciting weekend, filled with fast, skilled hockey, amazing support from the stands and outstanding sportsmanship from the players and coaches.

Great job to the division finalists on their excellent final games and CONGRATULATIONS to all of the weekends CHAMPIONS - those were, competitive, hard fought battles - you should all be very proud of yourselves.
