Our Nighthawks are out and about doing AMAZING work!
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Sun 11 17, 19
This afternoon, the town of Cobourg gathered along the main street to celebrate the season and to welcome Santa Claus to town!

Our Lorenz Conveying Minor Bantam AA and Behan Minor Midget AA teams joined forces with the Cobourg Cougars to assist the Salvation Army.

All three groups proudly wore their jerseys and collected non perishable food items from parade watchers to help the Salvation Army kick off their Annual Christmas Food Drive.

The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time of year for many families.  The Salvation Army continues to be a main source of support for several vulnerable families in our area and they are one of our hockey associations favourite charities to support.

Much love to these teams for continuing to display their outstanding community spirit and for representing the Nighthawks and supporting a very meaningful cause!

Winning hockey games, tournaments and trophies is undeniably a big part of why our youth play, but the character they develop belonging to these involved teams, under such great leadership is what will truly develop these kids into quality members of our society.
