AA Tryouts
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Sun 04 21, 19
Our AA Rep tryouts begin this week!  I know that this can be a very stressful time of year for players, their families and the coaches.  Northumberland is a AA centre and our goal is to ice the most competitive team at that level, followed by the AE team which are both supported by a strong foundation in out Select and House League programs.

That being said, each team has a limited number of spots, and that is where the tryout process begins.  Remember that coaches are trying to assemble a team of the strongest, most skilled, and coachable kids.

Be sure that your players takes the tryout as an opportunity to showcase themselves! Give 110% every shift, during each drill and lap around the ice.  Be respectful, show up on time and be a team player.

Best of luck to everyone!

A few reminders:

*Tonight is the deadline to purchase your AA Passport online for the discounted rate.

*You must ensure that your player is also registered before attending tryouts

*All players wanting to play rep hockey, who played AA or AE last season, MUST attend AA tryouts.

*Players are not permitted to request releases from coaches to circumvent the AA tryout

*Any Northumberland House League player that would like to play rep this year, can either attend AA tryouts OR they can go straight to AE tryouts (if numbers support a team)

*All player releases will be made online. Your unique and confidential ID number can be found at the bottom of your Tryout Passport Email (submission ID)
