Our Minor Midgets are on FIRE!
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Thu 03 21, 19
This season, our Behan Minor Midget AA team has given us so much to cheer about!

This hard working, determined group had one primary goal all season - to win the coveted RED HAT!  Their teams work ethic and talent has put them directly on that path!

They began their season by winning the Mary Parkinson Tournament, they then took home gold medals at our home Justin Williams Tourney and a month later, they shut out each and every one of their competitors at the Northumberland Silver Stick Qualifier.

The teams last two tournament showings, saw them easily advance to the the finals, but unfortunately they just fell short of their goal.

OMHA Playoffs have been a thing of precision for the Minor Midgets!  They have won 13 of their 14 tilts and now have found themselves up against a tough and worthy competitor in the Belle River Canadiens.  The Nighthawks and the Canadiens battled hard during their first OMHA Finals bout, and in dramatic fashion, the Nighthawks were victorious in OT!

The team will travel to Belle River this weekend to play back to back games, and if needed - they will return to home action on March 29th.

We are wishing the team and their coaching staff the very best of luck as you make your way to achieving that very special, and attainable goal.

I know that your stands will be filled with friends and family, and we will all be proudly cheering you on as well from home.

Go Nighthawks Go!
