Nighthawks Spotlight
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Wed 10 17, 18
Our Nighthawks our amazing people! They truly are.

September was Cancer Awareness Month and the NMHA wholeheartedly supported this outstanding cause. We saw our hockey teams, fellow lacrosse teams, visiting teams and their guests, families, local businesses and our community rise to the occasion and help us raise over $3500!

20180928_100226.jpgIn addition to our group efforts, a special boy went out on his own to raise funds to support the cause.

9 year old, Hudsyn Tutty from Port Hope arranged his own bottle drive and raised an outstanding $131.40!

Raising funds and awareness for cancer is a cause close to Hudsyn’s heart. His grandma, sadly passed away from cancer, so he knows the loss that can be felt from this terrible disease.

Hudsyn plays for Team White in the Atom House League and he is also a member of the Atom Select Team.

Kids like Hudsyn, with his charitable spirit deserve to be applauded for their efforts. So, if you see Hudsyn around, be sure to give him a big high five and tell him how outstanding that we all think he is!
