Midget players - IT'S YOUR TIME!!!
Don't forget that if you are wanting to attend rep tryouts (which are tomorrow), then you need to purchase your
Tryout Passports.
Please note that PayPal is not always being cooperative. If you have troubles, please be sure to purchase and you can bring $60 cheque or cash to us tomorrow. *Otherwise, passports will be offered for $80 at the door.
Don't forget that you need to be registered for the NMHA before you attend tryouts, if you have missed this, no worries - you can do it
online!
We are expecting a big turnout for our Midget AA tryouts. If the
numbers are as expected, we will have the ability
to run a Midget A team in addition to the AA team, which is super exciting news!
Currently there are 7 other Lakeshore League associations that have already committed to a Midget A team, which would mean that our potential Midget A team could compete "locally" in the Lakeshore League instead of in the York Simcoe Loop.
Potential tryouts for the Midget A team would start following the Midget AA tryouts.
Any local player that was released from the
Minor Midget AA tryouts in May is eligible to tryout (at no cost) because they already bought their tryout passport.
Any local players that played Midget House League in the NMHA last year would also be eligible to tryout for the Midget A team, without having had attended AA tryouts (provided they are residentially allowed to play rep hockey here) at a cost of $20.00 per tryout.
This team will have only one practice per week (option to add more) and approximately 24 regular season games.
If you are interested in attending tryouts, be sure to purchase your Tryout Passport and make sure that you are registered. We are looking forward to seeing you!
