We need your HELP!
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Thursday, July 19, 2018
We are putting a call out to our Membership to help give us a hand.

We are not looking for help with washing the smelly jerseys, or for help with finding and securing sponsorships for next season, or even to assist with the In Person Registration dates. We have spectacular people who are already taking care of those things.

What we are needing is for at least one member to help us do a much more tedious, and some might say boring job - but a very important job nonetheless.

We need one of our valuable NMHA members to join our "Bylaw Committee".  I know that doesn't sound like a riveting job - but for the right person - it could be!!!

At the AGM, it was passed that we would eliminate the term "Board"  from our bylaws and simply refer to our governing body as the "Executive".  This will help to ensure consistency and simplicity when referring to the bylaws for direction and answers as we move forward.

It was also decided that our blyaws needed a bit of a cleanup with regards to repetitiveness and clarity.  No bylaws will be amended during this process, but it will certainly lend itself to identifying issues that may need addressed at our end of season AGM.

If you have a knack for organization, enjoy detail oriented tasks and have a few hours to volunteer - we would welcome you with wide arms.  Even if you don't possess those qualities, we would still welcome you!

Thank you in advance for considering joining us in this important effort.

Please email Todd Gimblett, President or Michelle Brown, Communication Officer for more information.
