Thank you to our Volunteers
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Wednesday, June 6, 2018
Before our 2017/2018 season officially concludes at our AGM this evening, let me thank everyone for their tremendous efforts at helping to put forth a quality hockey experience for the youth in our community!

Running an organization like the NMHA is a great undertaking, for many people.

It is the volunteers that make this organization what it is. Without them coaching, managing, training, registering kids, running tournaments, banquets, development clinics, coordinating police check clinics, schedules, referees, timekeepers etc... we would just not exist!

Our AGM is a time to reflect on our accomplishments and determine how we can do better!  It can be a time of high emotions, upset, and general criticism.

Please remember that disparaging remarks directed at the organization as a whole are inappropriate and uncalled for.   They only take away from the good work that our amazing volunteers do! You know the saying; "Don’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch".  Please be kind and appreciative to all of our very valuable volunteers!

If you have concerns or issues, we welcome you to attend the AGM this evening and participate in the discussions.
