Bantam AA's, not done yet!
Submitted By Michelle Brown on Sun 03 25, 18
The Bantam AA team, coached by Kris Kelly, Jeff Darrach and Paul Anderson, managed by Todd Denault and Tammy Bemma have had quite the season.

In fact this year has been a continuation of their successful run last year.  This group of boys have won over 100 hockey games (regular season, tournaments, and playoffs combined) over the past two years and have claimed many Championship Titles along the way.

This season they finished top of the Lakeshore standings, going 24-2-6!  Their offensive power was strong, scoring 99 goals, but their defensive style was even stronger, only allowing 38 goals against.

They've had their eyes set on the OMHA title since flying through the Playdowns with a tremendous amount of success.  They dominated the Whitby, Peterborough and Markham series, but unfortunately met their match against the very strong Burlington Eagles Gold team.

However, as the Hockey Gods would have it, the season is not quite over for the Bantams just yet!  This year, Burlington is set to host the Bantam AA OHF tournament, and with that, the Nighthawks will get an opportunity to attend, participate and seek redemption.

Knowing what this team is capable of, I believe that they have some very exciting hockey ahead of them and we look forward to cheering them on during Championship Weekend!

All the best at OHF's to the entire team; W. Bolton, R. Crowley, N. Cullen, B. Darrach, G. Day, T. Gadbois, P. Houston, A. Jones, L. Kelly, I. Macleod, C. Mccurdy, J. Mininni, O. Paziuk, C. Shore, T. Smith, L. Stover, and D. Tibbits
