The Minor Midget AA Nighthawks learned about a boy their age who was in need of some special Christmas cheer this season.
Together, with generous donations from their families and their own money, they pooled together almost $500!!!
With that money, the team spent the evening at the mall carefully selecting out gifts and goodies for their peer.
I was incredibly impressed with the thoughtfulness the boys displayed when choosing gifts, and making sure that this boy would have a variety of practical and fun items to open on Christmas morning.
This is a special time of year, one in which we often become aware of those in less fortunate situations. The way that this group of boys have rallied and embraced the Christmas Spirit is humbling and makes me beam with pride as a Mother and as a member of this wonderfully generous community.
