Help us, help you.....so you can help us!
Every year the Northumberland Minor Hockey Association depends on all of its's outstanding volunteers!
Without people like yourself in our community
stepping up to help coach, train, convene, run tournaments, do
registration and so so much more, we wouldn't be as awesome as we are!
But safety comes first, and in order to be a volunteer within our organization, you must have a valid police check on file.
We know that this can be a cumbersome task,
so for the second year, we are making it easy and bringing the police
check clinic to the CCC for you!
Thank you in advance for all of your efforts!
Northumberland Minor Hockey Association
Criminal Record Check Clinic
Date: Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Location: CCC, NMHA office and Tournament Room (upstairs at the Pond)
All volunteers with the NMHA (including coaches, trainers, managers, on-ice volunteers, etc.) are required to have a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check completed and on file.
To make this process more convenient for our volunteers, representatives from local police agencies will be at the arena so that the forms can be filled out and submitted. There will be no cost.
Applicants must attend this clinic in person and must bring with them two pieces of identification. One must be a government issued photo ID. (Drivers Licence, Passport, etc)
If this clinic time is not convenient, volunteers can go to their local police station to get a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check completed.
NOTE: If a Criminal Record Check was submitted last year, a Criminal Declaration Form is all that is required for this year. This form is available on the NMHA website under downloads and can be submitted at the NMHA office at any time.
