What is Cross Ice/Half Ice

By now, many of you have heard that the NMHA will be adopting the Hockey Canada, Cross-Ice/Half Ice program at the Initiation level for our young players.


This is an incredibly exciting time for all young hockey players across Canada as coaching is now being tailored to be more age appropriate.

Players, will learn the basic skills of hockey in a more fun and engaging way.  The use of special bumper pads will scale down the ice surface for our youngest players to help increase their fun and engagement.
