AAA Zone Decision

Attention Members:  The following information has just been released by the OMHA.  

The OMHA AAA Committee, in conjunction with the OMHA Regional Director, Susan Robinson, have recommended to the OMHA Board of Directors that Northumberland Minor Hockey Association be assigned as a feeder centre to Quinte AAA Zone. 

On February 21, 2016 the OMHA Board of Directors voted to approve the recommendation of the AAA Committee and assign Northumberland Minor Hockey Association as a feeder centre to the Quinte AAA Zone

Effective with the tryouts for the 2016-2017 season players from Northumberland Minor Hockey Association will be eligible to try out for AAA with Quinte AAA Zone. 

Players from Port Hope that have participated with Clarington AAA in the 2015-2016 season will be eligible to be grandfathered with Clarington. The OMHA Office, working with the Regional Director, will identify the eligible players. Details of the grandfathering offer will be provided to Northumberland Minor Hockey Association and will accompany the offers distributed to those players.
