Frank Francella was a member of the Northumberland Nighthawks Executive (Risk Management). He served as a coach with the NMHA and also with Nemisis Lacrosse.
Frank has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). Frank was a Police Officer for 23 years, majority of his time with the Cobourg Police Service until his retirement in Jan 2021.
Frank's treatment has started, with heavy doses of chemo, which finished last Friday. Recoup and recovery has been the plan for the last week, with many hurdles to overcome. He is fighting a very difficult battle at the moment, and once he has conquered this stage, he will move forward with further treatment.
