A new season of house league hockey is right around the corner. As you brush off the back packs for back-to-school, dust off the hockey bag and make sure your player is registered to play! If your child wants the opportunity to play hockey at a non-competitive level, where they can improve their skills, feel the comradery of being part of a team or grow their love for the game, then house league is the place to be… especially in Northumberland!    It’s not too late to register, but the sooner the better, please! 

The NMHA has re-opened the Coaching Application for the 2025/26 season for U8MD and U9MD teams. Eligible coaches must have successfully completed Coach 1 certification.  Applications will be accepted until Monday, August 18, 2025 @ 12pm.

Minor Development (MD) is a level of play that focuses on development for younger players. NMHA will begin prep skates and tryouts starting in early September. 

Although summer is flying by, that means hockey season is just around the corner, and so too are tryouts for the U18A Rep team. Registration for these tryouts is now open and the tryout fee is $50. All tryout skates are taking place at the CCC Bowl. Date and times are as follows: Sunday, September 7, 2025 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm Tuesday, September 9, 2025 - 9:30pm - 11:00pm Friday, September 12, 2025 - 8:00pm - 9:30pm Click here to register for U18 Rep Tryout Passport.
