Officer Positions open for the 2025/26 Season with a brief description of the Officers tasks are:
1. OMHA Centre Contact
· Coordinate roster of players, teams and officials per OMHA Guidelines
· Liaise with OMHA Office, including Travel Permits and Tournament Sanctions
· Monitor than Liaise with Coaches and Mangers regarding Suspensions
2. Equipment Officer
· Submit to Finance and Budget Committee estimated Equipment Expenditures
· Implementation and adherence to Corporation Equipment Purchase Policy
· Maintain an Inventory or Corporation equipment
3. Development Officer
· Establish a mentor program for Coaches
· Develop a strategic plan for consistency in message across all age groups
· Liaise with all levels of Hockey governance for Development of players and coaches
· Submit to Finance and Budget Committee estimated on-ice development costs
4. Representative Hockey U14-U18 Officer
· Manage and Supervise operations of Representative Hockey U14-U18
· Lead Selection of Coaches U14-U18
· Chair all meetings of Coaches and Managers U14-U18
5. Minor Development (U8MD and U9MD) and Representative Hockey U10-U13 Officer
· Manager and Supervise operations of Representative and MD to U13
· Lead Selection of Coaches MD to U13
· Chair all meetings of Coaches and Managers MD to U13
6. Select Hockey Program Officer
· Manage and Supervise operations of Select Hockey Program
· Responsible for adherence to OMHA Rules and Regulations
· Liaise with Corporation Ice Scheduler for allocation of Ice Times ensuring Regulations regarding game/tournament allowance.
7. House League Hockey (U12-U21) Program Officer
· Manage and Supervise operations of House league U12-U21 programming
· Manage the registration of Team Official and Players U12-U21
· Manage and Supervise House League Convenors U12-U21
8. House League Hockey (U5-U11) Program Officer
· Manage and Supervise operations of House League U5-U11 programming
· Manage the registration of Team Official and Players U5-U11
· Manage and Supervise House League Convenors U5-U11
9. Risk Management Officer
· Work with Risk and Conduct Committee to ensure compliance with HC/OHF/OMHA Guidelines on Risk Management
· Manage a channel for Corporation to receive complaints not covered under Safe Sport
· Lead the review and drafting of revisions to Corporation By-Laws
10. Team Managers and Parent Liaison Officer
· Support and Mentor Team Managers
· Supervise content on Manager’s Portal
· Respond to inquiries from membership Parents and refer or attend to accordingly
