CONGRATULATIONS to our U11A Northumberland Nighthawks for taking the GOLD medal at the CAN/AM Challenge Cup in Montreal this past weekend. They beat the Upper York Admirals with a score of 5-1.
“The coaching staff and I are extremely proud of the resilience this team demonstrated this weekend. Winning this tournament started in their first game, when they were down 3–1 going into the third. They never gave up and battled back to tie it up with 36 seconds left and the goalie pulled. This was a full team effort, and every player played their heart out.
