House League - Getting Ready for a NEW Season
A new season of house league hockey is right around the corner. As you brush off the back packs for back-to-school, dust off the hockey bag and make sure your player is registered to play!

If your child wants the opportunity to play hockey at a non-competitive level, where they can improve their skills, feel the comradery of being part of a team or grow their love for the game, then house league is the place to be… especially in Northumberland!   

It’s not too late to register, but the sooner the better, please

The NMHA house league season starts sooner than you think! On Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 we will hit the ice and we need to get everyone registered ASAP. If you haven’t done so yet, click here to get your hockey player registered for the 2025-26 season!  

Coaches, Trainers & Conveners Needed...
We don’t just need players, we need gracious volunteers to be coaches and trainers for our teams and convenors for each division. If you are interested taking on any of these positions, or would like more information, please email our House League officers as follows:

Let us know your name, contact number, previous coaching experience and in which division you wish to placed for the upcoming season. NOTE: All volunteers are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) in order to participate in minor hockey in Canada.

CONVENERS - They are individuals who oversee a specific division to act as a liaison between the league, coaches and parents and are responsible for addressing issues, enforcing rules and promoting a fun and positive playing environment.
