Minor Development (MD) is a level of play that focuses on development for younger players. NMHA will begin prep skates and tryouts starting in early September.
MD is a category of minor hockey which offers a level of play that is above house league and select hockey but is not Representative level. If your player is either U8 (born 2018) or U9 (born 2017) this coming season, and is interested in this level of play, tryouts and pre skates have now been scheduled.
You must first register your player for House League for the upcoming 2025/26 season. Then you must register for a Tryout Passport through this
link. The Passport cost is $50.00. Only those who purchase the passport may participate in the Prep Skates. Note: Prep skates are not mandatory, but rather they are optional. However, they are a great opportunity for your player to get ice ready for tryouts.
