RS6 Nighthawks WIN "C" Championship in First Tournament!
The RS6 Nighthawks were in Oshawa this past weekend for their first ever tournament and they made Northumberland proud! They played two games on Friday losing their First game in a tight 5-4 game against Peterborough White. The Second game was a nail biting 2-2 tie against Peterborough Maroon and Saturdays game they pulled off an exciting 3-2 win against the Port Perry Predators.
The C championship game was bright and early Sunday morning and the Nighthawks came out flying and held on for a 3-1 win in a rematch against Peterborough Maroon. Evan Brooking netted the opener for his first goal of the season. Brayden Davidson capped off a two goal performance and Goaltender Ethan McGregor was amazing in net and was named MVP of the game!
A huge Congrats to our 3 other MVP's of the other games, Brayden Davidson, Henry Fisher, Henry Van Der Vinne. Way to go Nighthawks!
